The Long Island Game Farm

The Long Island Game Farm is a large animal farm and petting zoo in Manorville, NY. It is a wonderful educational experience for a child to see the many different kinds of animals in the wild. There are hundreds of animals at the Long Island Game Farm.

There are many different species of indigenous and exotic animaals. Here are just a few...

  • Zebras
  • Alligators
  • Camels
  • Oustrich
  • Monkeys

When you visit, you can get up close and personal with the animals in "Old MacDonald's Farmyard" by touching and feeding them, like bottle feeding a baby goat! The Game Farm's motto is "Please Touch".

The Long Island Game Farm offers pony rides for the kids and also amusement rides like:

  • Rio Grande Mini Train
  • Antique Carousel

Muttville Comix

This Spring, the Long Island Game Farm presents a show with 15 dogs as the main attraction. The performance is led by Johnny Peers, A Ringling Brothers Clown College graduate. The dogs perform a lot of very entertaining tricks, like tightrope walking and skateboarding.

Johnny Peers has performed as a professional clown in the Ringling Brothers Circus. The Muttville Comix has even performed at the whitehouse! The dogs in the show have been rescued from shelters and pounds.

The Muttville Comix performances run from 5/28/11 to 9/5/11.

  • Weekdays: 12pm and 3pm
  • Weekends: 12pm, 2pm, 4pm

Camp Zoo

The Camp Zoo is a week long summer day camp at the Long Island Game Farm, learning about animals and zoology. The camp is for 4-11 year olds and runs for 5 consecutive weeks in the summer. The sessions are from 10am to 3pm, Monday through Friday. Each session has different themes relating to animals.

If you are a new camper the rate for a week of summer camp is $375.00. Returning campers pay $325.00 for a week.If you have previously enrolled for a week and are between the ages of 12-14, then you can become a Junior Camp Counselor for $245 a week. The Junior Camp Counselors get to help out the younger kids, learn about animals, and earn their Counselor Certification all at the same time.

  • Weekdays: 10am to 5pm
  • Weekends: 10am to 6pm

It is important to call ahead as schedules and hours of operation are subject to change.

They are open 7 days a week from May 28th, 2011 through October 11th, 2011.

The summer rates run from May 28 to Sept. 5

  • Children 2 & under: Free
  • Children 3-11: $15.95
  • Adults: $17.95
  • Seniors (62 & older): $15.95

The Fall rates run from Sept. 6 - Oct. 11

  • Children 2 & under: Free
  • Children 3-11: $14.95
  • Adults: $16.95
  • Seniors (62 & older): $14.95

The Spring rates run from April 16 - May 27

  • Children 2 & under: Free
  • Children 3-11: $14.45
  • Adults: $16.45
  • Seniors (62 & older): $14.45

Closed for the winter season and on the following days
