The Long Island Ducks games
are fun and family friendly!
The Long Island Ducks are Long Island's very own minor league
Going to a game is a great time and the stadium and games are extremely family friendly. There is even an inflatable jumping house for the kids.
The Ducks are a member of Atlantic League of Professional Baseball - a professional and independent baseball organization and the team is owned by Frank Boulton (owner and CEO), Seth Waugh and Bud Harrelson.
is in Central Islip, NY at Bethpage Ballpark. The games are fun to watch! The team is very involved with it's fans. There are many events throughout the season involving ticket holders. For example, this year they had "Father's Day with the Ducks" - all fathers were able to enter a raffle to win prizes perfect for a dad, which included electronics and BBQ tool sets.
Their mascot, the QuackerJack, entertains the audience between innings with games and contests.
The "Ducks Club" is a new restaurant that opened for lunch in 2010 for the fans to enjoy. The restaurant is open to all Monday through Friday from noon to 3pm. Season ticket holders have use of the restaurant during home games so they don't have to miss a minute of the action. It is located at the club level behind home plate and has a bar, many flat screen tv's to watch the game and many yummy menu choices.
The Ducks provides 2 day clinics for the kids that are held every season and also a "Kids Club". Kids must be 14 and under to join and will receive a membership card, merchandise and discounts at the Waddle-In Shop. There is even a quarterly newsletter that comes out for the kids: "The Duck Pond".
